The Eagle 45° Sanitary Tri-Clamp Elbow is a sanitary pipe fitting designed to form an efficient, cleanable joint of two sections of stainless steel tubing which intersect at 45 degrees. Made from seamless 304 and 316L stainless steel, this fitting has a smooth bore with a 32Ra electropolished finish that prevents product build-up and biofilm growth. The Tri-Clamp bevel seat ends machined to the profile base on 3-A sanitary standard 63-04, allow the fitting to fit firmly with the industry-standard clamps and gaskets. Each elbow has a stamped heat lot number for material traceability that the pharmaceutical and food safety quality systems require. The 45° configuration is of great importance in building sloped drain lines, redirecting piping around obstacles, and lowering the total pressure drop in the production process with many turns.

How do I calculate the space needed for a 45° elbow in my piping layout?
