What is the difference between a 45° elbow made from seamless tube and one made from welded plate?
The seamless tube elbow is manufactured by bending a segment of drawn stainless steel tubing that has a uniform grain structure as well as a uniform wall thickness through the elbow bend. The elbow made of welded plate is produced by cutting and forming two halves of the plate and welding them together.
