Product Overview
The Eagle 1/2" sanitary check valve is a one-way flow control device made of solid 316L stainless steel and equipped with a spring. With liquid flowing in, the disc assembly is pushed off its seat, permitting fluid to flow without restriction. Once the flow stops or turns back, the valve disc is pushed by the spring back to its seat. The inner surface of the valve body has smooth, 32Ra electropolished surface finish, making it difficult for bacteria and residue to stick to the surface of the valve. It is connected through a butt-weld, making the connection permanent and good for applications with pressures of up to 145 psi and temperatures of up to 200°F. This valve is 1/2 inches, which fits in with tube diameter used in home brewing, espresso machines, reverse osmosis, and small food production.
